Warranty Coverage

Different products carry different warranties. Here is what we — and our equipment partners — stand behind.

Solar systems are made up of multiple components, each with its own warranty period and conditions. AMPL Solar (AKUPAAD MARKETING PVT. LTD.) follows the OEM warranty terms for every branded component we install, and adds its own workmanship warranty on top. The table below summarises typical coverage; the exact terms applicable to your installation are listed in the warranty card delivered with the system.

Solar Panels (Modules)

25-year performance · 12-year product

Tier-1 mono-PERC / N-type modules carry the manufacturer's standard 25-year linear performance warranty (≥ 80% rated output at year 25) and a 12-year product workmanship warranty.

  • •Power output below the warranted curve
  • •Junction box and cable failures

Solar Inverters

5 to 10 years (brand-dependent)

On-grid string inverters typically ship with a 5-year standard warranty, extendable up to 10–25 years from the OEM. Hybrid and three-phase models follow the manufacturer's specific warranty card supplied at handover.

  • •Internal electronics and firmware defects
  • •Display and communication module failures
  • •Free replacement during warranty (subject to OEM SLA)

Lithium / Lead-Acid Batteries

5 to 7 years (lithium) · 2 to 5 years (lead-acid)

Storage batteries are covered per the manufacturer's terms with a guaranteed capacity retention (typically ≥ 70% at end of warranty for lithium chemistries). C&D, Luminous, Pylontech and Exide warranties pass through directly.

  • •Pro-rated replacement after the first full-replacement period

Mounting Structure & BOS

10 years against structural failure

Hot-dip galvanized / mill-galvanized mounting structures are warranted against corrosion and structural failure for 10 years. AC/DC cables, combiner boxes, SPDs and earthing components follow component-specific warranties.

  • •Rust-through and structural sag under rated wind load
  • •Loose connections traced to factory defect
  • •DC cable insulation failure during the warranty period

Solar Atta Chakki

3 years on machinery · panel warranty bundled

Our turnkey solar atta chakki package includes a 3-year warranty on the chakki motor and gearbox, the standard inverter warranty, and the full 25/12-year solar panel warranty described above.

  • •Controller and starter electronics
  • •Solar panel coverage as per the panel warranty

Workmanship & Installation

2 years on AMPL Solar installation

We back our own workmanship for 2 years from the date of commissioning. This is in addition to all OEM warranties and covers labour and travel for any installation-related rectification.

  • •Mounting alignment and tightening defects
  • •Cable termination, conduiting and earthing issues
  • •Leak repairs on roof penetrations made during installation

How to Raise a Warranty Claim

  1. Note the system serial number printed on the inverter or panel warranty card.
  2. Call +91 95060 37000 or WhatsApp us with photos / a short description of the issue.
  3. Our service team will diagnose remotely first; if a site visit is needed, it is scheduled within the SLA committed in your work order.
  4. For OEM-covered claims, we coordinate the replacement directly with the manufacturer at no charge during the warranty period.

What is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by tampering, unauthorised modification, or repair by third parties.
  • Force majeure events: lightning strike, fire, flood, earthquake, theft, vandalism, civil disturbance.
  • Cosmetic wear (scratches, soiling) that does not affect performance.
  • Performance loss caused by shading, soiling, or roof modifications made after installation.
